Pet Peeves of the Day

.... when the el conductor sees an entire bus load of people running down the escalator to catch the train and he leaves anyway.

.... every single person in Yankee stadium chanting "over-rated" when Jonathan Papelbon pitched. You're booing your own team you a$$hats. You're getting into your pitcher's head while the AL is attempting to win, because he said he thought he was good enough to pitch the 9th. Granted - had the situated been swapped, and they were at Fenway, the same thing would have most likely happened to Mariano Rivera (it's a toss up who I hate more these days). STUPID.
.... when it's sunny and instead of a hat, sunglasses, suntan lotion, or the shade people decide to walk around with their umbrella.
.... blackberries. Put them down in meetings. It's so unbelievably rude.
.... Ore-gone.

.... Mary Murphy/Joe Morgan/Jenny Humphrey.

Also, in case you hadn't heard ...

An Ode to Stringer Bell

First off - thanks to Kim for even getting me to consider watching this show. It's fantastic. I am completely addicted and watch way too many of the episodes because I am dying to know what happens.

I am also somewhat obsessed with Stringer Bell, by far my favorite member of Avon's crew on HBO's The Wire. The actor who plays Stringer Bell is Idris Elba, and was born in London. Did anyone seriously know that?!? He has a British accent! It just added to my love. He is also a DJ and co-produced some pieces for Jay Z. All making me love him, more. The only issue with doing my little research is I am only half-way into Season 2 and I may have read a little bit about what happens to him in the upcoming seasons. I tried to avert my eyes. I will say no more. I now have to netflix Tyler Perry's "Daddy's Little Girls." Isn't it funny how netflix is a verb now?

Also, the Bachelorette finale tonight. Who will she pick?!? There is part of me that thinks Graham comes back, because I just don't see her picking either of the finale two (Jesse or Jason). I think both are lovely though. Jesse would be a great Bachelor.

Do you love it? If I could only go back ...
